Skin Tag Removal – How to Remove Skin Tags in 5 Different Ways

I didn’t even know skin tag removal was possible until I bumped into it while surfing for something skin-related. It seems that it is quite easy and you can learn how to remove skin tags without any side effects.

Skin tags is a benign and absolutely harmless skin growth that looks like a lump of skin. It sometimes hangs and sometimes it’s just a lump, annoying you. They typically occur on your neck, underarms, and knee folds.

Skin tags are almost never cancerous, and preventing them seems impossible. Luckily though, skin tag removal isn’t that difficult. All you need is a bit of courage to do it.

How to Remove Skin Tags in 5 Different Ways

Alright, so you’re sick of having these lumps everywhere and you want to learn how you can get rid of them, here’s a few cures, some of them you can do at home, others require a doctor.

  1. Cutting
Cutting off a skin tag is perfectly acceptable and harmless. It might sting and bleed, but it usually heals okay. At least that has been the case for us.

  2. Tie-off
Take a piece of string or dental floss, tie around your skin tag and wait until it turns black on its own. It might swell up, change color and be a bit painful, but this will only last a few days, you can then let it fall off or snip it off.

  3. Freezing
Another home remedy for skin tags is to use one of those freeze off liquids that people use for warts. Freeze the skin tag and see what happens.

  4. Dermatologist
If you don’t feel comfortable doing anything yourself, go and see your dermatologist and ask what you can do, or if they can remove it for you.

  5. Other Natural Methods
There are plenty of good resources out there and one of the best one’s we’ve found in removing skin tags naturally is the eBook No More Moles, Warts, or Skin Tags™ by Chris Gibson.

Is Skin Tag Removal Safe?

Usually yes, and the reason I say usually is because I’ve never heard of anything bad happening, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t happen. These are just our experiences, so keep that in mind 🙂

If you decide to do your skin tags treatment at home and just clip it off, remember to sterilize your clippers and use something on the wound afterwards so it doesn’t get infected.

I just wanted to say that, although I’ve never used any precautions like this. But I want you to be extra careful because you don’t want to be as reckless as I am 🙂
