Thanks for the tip on red meat. I know personally the struggle with eczema but was not aware of the impact meat has. I have heard that goats milk is a good dairy option also for using topically. It relieves the symptoms of eczema and psoriasis when used in the bath, as lotion and soap.

I have had eczema since I was 16 (I am now 22) and I have found a lot of what you have said above is a huge triggor for my breakouts. I also find a lot of tomato based foods are a triggor. For example if I eat a tomato pasta, my face feels like it is burning and the next day I come out in an awful rash. Then again I have been told that pasta is a cause, so I am now trying wholegrain pasta and rice, which isn't causing any flare ups as of yet. I also take multivitamins every day to get plenty of vitamin A, C and omega 3 - these help brilliantly. Also I drink a lot of fruit juice, and cranberry tea if I feel the need for a cuppa!

I hope this is of help to people, I know reading other people's advice has helped me tons, and helped me control my eczema once and for all!

I've had eczema for almost ten years. I had it severly in the palm of my hands and the inside of my feet. No creams or lotions ever worked, nothing worked. It even costed me my waitressing job. Never in my life have I ever felt more embarrassed than to look for a job with hands looking as bad as mine did. It even prevented me from looking for work because I was so ashamed. But as I sit here, it dawned on me. I havn't had soda, chocolate or fatty snack foods in over a month. My hands and feet look almost as good as they did 10yrs ago!! This has been a dream come true for me, as now I can feel confident again to shake another persons' hand. Maybe now I can finally feel like a human again...
